Quickly locate contacts or group chats: When the number of contacts or group chats is large, the search function can help users quickly find the target and improve communication efficiency.
Steps to search for friends:

Tap on the search button in the upper right corner o tap on the search box at the top.

Enter the friend’s nickname or the note you gave to the friend to find your friend.
Nota: If you have not added a friend but are in the same group chat, you can also search for the friend’s nickname to find the group chat and find your friend.
