Product & Compatibility
Q: What devices does TalkiePods support?
A: TalkiePods is compatible with iOS and Android devices with Bluetooth 5.0 or above.

 

Q: Do I need JusTalk / JusTalk Kids to use TalkiePods?
A: You can use TalkiePods as regular Bluetooth earphones, but to unlock parental controls and Talkie Mode, binding with JusTalk / JusTalk Kids is required.

 

First Pairing & Binding
Q: How do I pair TalkiePods with my phone via Bluetooth?
A: Turn on Bluetooth on your phone → Search for “TalkiePods” → Tap to pair → Connection completed.

 

Q: How do I bind TalkiePods to JusTalk / JusTalk Kids?
A: Open JusTalk / JusTalk Kids → Go to “TalkiePods” → Tap “+” → Select your TalkiePods → Once bound, the device record will appear.

 

Parental Control
Q: How to use parental control?
A: Here are the requirements for using parental controls:
  1. Both you and your child have a Justalk/JusTalk Kids Account.
  2. Your child should bind TalkiePods with JusTalk Kids.
  3. Your JusTalk account needs to be the parent account of your child’s Justalk Kids account.
  4. Your JusTalk account must have Platinum Family membership( For TalkiePods user, you can get a Free 3 Month Offer)

 

Q: How do I set daily usage time for my child?
A: Go to TalkiePods Parental Control → Set “Daily Usage Time”.

 

Q: What happens when the usage time is used up?
A: TalkiePods will enter Unavailable status and cannot be connected or used. It resets the next day.

 

Q: How can I extend usage time for my child?
A: Parents can tap “Temporary change” to extend usage immediately.

 

Q: How can I control the headphone volume?
A: Parents can set the volume range in the control panel to prevent excessive loudness.

 

Work with Talkie
Q: What is Talkie?
A: Talkie Mode is a real-time walkie-talkie mode where your friends’ voice messages play automatically.

 

Q: How is Talkie unlocked and used with TalkiePods?
A: Once you have bind TalkiePods with JusTalk, Talkie unlocks automatically without Premium.

 

Q: Why should I use TalkiePods?
A: When using Talkie, you can use TalkiePods to quickly reply.
There are two ways:
Method 1 Long Press
Press and hold the touch area on the TalkiePods, speak, and then release to quickly send a voice message.
Method 2 Tap
Tap the touch area on the TalkiePods, speak, and then tap the button again to quickly send a voice message. If you make a mistake, you can double-tap the touch button to cancel the message recording.
This feature also works even when the screen is locked.

 

Tips & Troubleshooting
Q: What does “Unavailable” mean on TalkiePods?.
A: It means the daily usage time limit is reached, and other devices can’t find TalkiePods anymore. It will reset the next day.

 

Q: Why can’t my device find TalkiePods?
A: If your TalkiePods have been connected to JusTalk Kids and parental controls are enabled, other devices may not be able to find them.
Before connecting your TalkiePods to your device, please first connect them through Justalk Kids and ensure that you see the Connected status in the app.

 

Q: What should I do if TalkiePods cannot connect to JusTalk / JusTalk Kids?
A:
  1. Make sure Bluetooth is on.
  2. Check if usage time has reached the time limit.
  3. Try re-pairing and binding again.

Q: How do I reset TalkiePods to factory settings?
A: Press and hold the “+” and “-” button for 5 seconds until the light flashes and the beep → Reset (When your time is up, even if you reset the TalkiePods to factory settings, you will not be able to remove the Unavailable status of the TalkiePods. Please contact your parents for more usage time.)
